The Scottish Parliament commissioned Abound to redesign their permanent, ‘A Parliament for the People’ exhibition. The exhibition themes focus on the role of the parliament; opportunities for citizens to influence its work; the evolution of the parliament from medieval times through to the landmark Holyrood building; and significant political events.
Abound’s design responded to the architecture of the building, while employing a variety of interpretive media. This included the use of infographics, digital media and hands on elements. Introductory text is in English and Gaelic, alongside a number of measures to promote accessibility. Abound’s team included CMC Associates for digital aspects and McRobb Display for production and installation.
